Originally a captivating display at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London (2022), this exhibition explores the enduring presence of the female figure throughout art history.
A central highlight is Bernard Ajarb Ategwa's captivating painting, “Posing with my Parrot” Ategwa, a prominent contemporary artist, finds himself in esteemed company alongside artistic giants like Marina Abramović, Louise Bourgeois, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, David Hockney, Rembrandt van Rijn, Pablo Picasso, Cindy Sherman, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Rachel Whiteread.
“Reframed” presents a remarkable conversation between more than 50 artworks, spanning centuries and diverse artistic movements. During the original exhibition, Ategwa's work captivated London audiences, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the contemporary art world.
