Color in Dialogue: Twelve Works, Six Artistic Voices
Press Release · Hadadi Fine Art
Hadadi Fine Art presents Color in Dialogue: Modern & Contemporary Perspectives, an exhibition of twelve works by six artists, taking place October 1–November 15, 2026. Bringing together Fernand Léger, Sam Francis, Corydon Cowansage, Hamed Zida, Fiorenza Gorini, and Lars Cornelisse, the exhibition considers how color creates relationships between abstraction, figuration, and the space surrounding them.
Twelve Works, Six Artistic Voices
The selection invites viewers to move between distinct approaches to composition. Color may establish a rhythm, separate one form from another, or bring a figure forward. Across the exhibition, these possibilities become starting points for looking closely at individual works and for finding connections across generations.
Léger is represented by Fantaisie sur fond rouge (1943), Deux Portraits (1952), and La femme et la fleur (Saphire 136) (1954). Francis’s Mercury (SF-27) (1963) and Trietto 5 (SFE-078RC) (1991) extend the conversation through works on paper. Their inclusion creates a modern point of reference for the contemporary works that follow.
Cowansage’s From Spring (2022) and Cornelisse’s Cycles nr.00-V (2023) sit alongside Zida’s Vrolijk and Boxer, both from 2025. Gorini’s 1961 (2022), 1995 (2023), and Pool Concept #3 (2024) complete the presentation. Together, these works invite consideration of the ways color and form can connect otherwise different artistic languages.
A Conversation Through Color
The exhibition is organized around visual relationships rather than a single style. Viewers are encouraged to compare the balance of a composition, the interaction of neighboring colors, and the movement of the eye across a surface. The twelve-work format allows each piece to retain its individuality while participating in a broader conversation.
For collectors and visitors discovering these artists, Color in Dialogue offers an introduction to the breadth of Hadadi Fine Art’s modern and contemporary selection. The exhibition page includes artwork images, artist links, and direct gallery inquiries. Gorini’s 1961 and Francis’s Trietto 5 are marked sold; availability of other works can be confirmed with the gallery.
